Streptococcal tonsillitis and pharyngitis

Acute bacterial sinusitis

Acute otitis media

Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis

Cystitis

Pyelonephritis

Uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections

Early-stage treatment of Lyme disease

Contraindications

Patients allergic to cefuroxime or any other components of the drug

Patients allergic to cephalosporin antibiotics

Patients with a history of severe allergy (e.g., anaphylaxis) to any beta-lactam antibiotics (penicillin, monobactam, and carbapenem)
