Chỉ định

Indications

Minocycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic for oral use, indicated for infections caused by tetracycline-sensitive bacteria and some tetracycline-resistant Staphylococcus strains.

Indications include:

Acne

Skin and soft tissue infections

Eye infections

Acute and chronic bronchitis

Bronchiectasis

Lung abscess

Ear, nose, and throat infections

Pelvic infections

Gastrointestinal infections

Gonorrhea

Urethritis and prostatitis not caused by gonococcus

Other uses:

Prophylactic treatment in asymptomatic carriers of specific pathogens

Pre- and post-operative infection prevention

Contraindications

Minocycline is contraindicated in the following cases:

Hypersensitivity to minocycline, other tetracyclines, or any component of the product

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)

Renal impairment

Children under 12 years of age

Pregnant and breastfeeding women
